My Experience in Real Estate and Land Development

It all started back in May of 2012. I was looking for my first job, and my father-- Tom Hedenberg, was more then happy to take me under his wing and let me work for his land development/construction company; Specialty Development, LLC (previously Parke Place Construction). I started out as a general laborer-- where I spent 40 hours per week digging ditches, working in trenches and laying underground conduit pipe. My time working on the 'front lines' and seeing entire residential projects develop from untouched parcels of land to finished luxury units has allowed me to develop a great eye for all things real estate.

In early 2016, I came to the realization that I would need to find another job if I wanted to continue building a great foundation for my future. Naturally, I applied to the hardware store-- Lowe's Inc. During my time with Lowe's, I was able to further my knowledge of products relating to construction and home improvement. Between the time I spent at Specialty Development, LLC and Lowe's these past 5 years, I've been able to accumulate a vast amount of knowledge regarding land development and custom home building.

Fast forward to January 2017, I found myself asking the question "what can I do to add value to other's lives and share my newfound knowledge?"

I came to the conclusion that by getting my real estate license, I'd be able to do both.
By adding to my family's long linage of successful real estate dealings dating back over 50 years, I realized that I'd be able to not only aid in helping my clients with one of the biggest purchases of there lives', but I'd also be able to genuinely help those in need of information regarding the real estate industry as a whole.
